Dream House coming to Blu-ray in January

From the very beginning, the film DREAM HOUSE sounded like bad idea.  Just the very idea of another run of the mill haunted house thriller was enough to turn off most audiences, but I’m sure people were hoping that the superb cast would take it to another level.  But not even the star-studded trio of Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts could save this film from box office failure.  But I’m sure Universal is hoping the film will fare better when it hits Blu-ray on January 31st.  Truth be told, I didn’t catch this one in theaters and I’m at least a little curious about it since director Jim Sheridan has done some quality films.

Special features on the disc include four behind-the-scenes featurettes: Burning Down The House, The Dream Cast, Building The Dream House and A Look Inside.  The release will come in a Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Ultra-violet set.
