Not back to swing of things, but wanted to get these photos ASAP Rachel appeared in The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in New York yesterday.

All updates are delayed. Since February 14 when I had the capsule camera thing done I haven’t been feeling well because it aggravated the bowel syptoms – I’ve had two bad flare-ups, the second this weekend and culminating yesterday. And t0 make it all real fun, I’ve been battling the flu since about Thursday – which in my case means a sore throat and a cough from hell.

Needless to say, I’m not feeling like updating websites right now, and won’t be until I’m feeling half-way human again. So any and updates are delayed for now.

MANILA, Philippines – “The Bourne Legacy” lead actress Rachel Weisz may have already left the country but the kids of San Andres, Manila will never forget the kindness shown to them by the Hollywood star.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the movie’s Hollywood producer Pat Crowley shared that before Weisz left the Philippines, she gave the kids of San Andres a new playground for them to enjoy.

“When she was making the movie, her trailer was parked right over there. Everyday she saw the playground. That had a lot to do with motivating her. She always makes a contribution after every movie she works on,” Crowley said.

Crowley said Weisz contributed a new merry go-round ride and a new seesaw for the kids to enjoy.

“Her biggest concern was the safety of the kids…. There were holes sharp edges and she said we can do better for the kids,” he said.

Aside from this, the “Bourne” production and local actors including Lou Veloso and John Arcilla also gave out school supplies and bags to almost 600 children.

They also reminded the kids to always work hard in school as education is their best weapon for their future.

Meanwhile, Crowley revealed that “Bourne Legacy” will have a special screening in the Philippines this year.

“I dont know if there will be a world premiere but definitely a special screening here for the people who were involved and people in Manila,” he said.

‘Revenge’ Actress Madeleine Stowe to Direct a Western

Although she’s currently lady of the house on the ABC series “Revenge,” actress Madeleine Stowe is heading behind the camera to direct “The Unbound Captives.”

Stowe wrote the screenplay, which tells the story of a widow who, after being rescued by a frontiersman, searches for her kidnapped children. The 53-year-old actress says she’s also already in the process of gathering her cast and crew, with her budget and shot list in order. She was developing the project before “Revenge,” but Stowe decided to put captives on hold because “Revenge” and her character, Victoria Grayson, “were too enticing.”

“It’s a big romantic Western with a love story,” said Stowe. “That’s never been done before. It’s transcendental. You can sense God and heaven and earth through the characters,” she added.

Inspired by the likes of transcendental painter George Inness, poet Ralph Waldo Emerson and cinematographer John Toll, (whom Stowe says she wants to work with on “Captives”), the film is due to begin shooting in 2013.  Stowe says Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson were attached to the project. Weisz confirmed her involvement; Pattinson could not be reached for comment.

Melbourne, Mar 6 (ANI): Nicole Kidman has been signed on for the WWII drama, replacing Rachel Weisz.

According to Variety.com, British actress Weisz had to opt out of the project because of commitments on ‘The Bourne Legacy’ and ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’, the Daily Telegraph reported. 

‘The Railway Man’ is an Australian-UK production based on the experiences of former World War II prisoner Eric Lomax and his reconciliation with one of the Japanese captors years later. 

Kidman will play Colin Firth’s wife in the film, which will be shot in Scotland. Filming for the World War II scenes will take place on the Gold Coast, Australia. 

Shooting will commence in April. (ANI)
