After a short, quiet courtship, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have pulled off a near-impossibility in Hollywood: A secret wedding!

A rep for Weisz confirms to PEOPLE that the actress has wed the James Bond actor.

As the Daily Mail first reported, the couple married in front of just four people in New York last Wednesday.

The lucky guests? Daniel’s daughter Ella, 18, and Weisz’s son Henry, 4, and two friends, the Mail reports.

First linked last fall, Weisz, 41, and Craig, 43, spent Christmas together in the U.K.

The real-life newlyweds play husband and wife in the upcoming Dream House, due in theaters this fall.

Wondering what your favorite celebrities are doing when they’re not making headlines? Well, there could be any number of explanations for this lack of media coverage. One person I’d like to examine more closely is Rachel Weisz.

Weisz is known for her beauty as well as her brilliant acting. Weisz is perhaps most widely recognized for her role opposite Brendan Fraser in both The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. She has also appeared in many other films including the film adaptation of The Lovely Bones. Weisz won an Academy Award for her role in The Constant Gardener. However, we really haven’t seen her in anything that’s super recent. This definitely doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have projects in the works, though.

Weisz has several films that are categorized as “post-production,” meaning that they’re close to being done and hopefully close to being released. One of these, Page Eight, sees Weisz involved in a sort of British spy film that co-stars Bill Nighy, Ralph Fiennes, and Michael Gambon. The Deep Blue Sea is another upcoming film, expected mainly for release sometime this year in the United Kingdom.

Weisz will be seen in theaters around the world when Dream House opens in theaters in several countries, including the United States, in the fall. This will see Weisz in a thriller about a house with many secrets. This film will star Weisz as well as Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, and Marton Csokas. This is particularly interesting because recent rumors have speculated that Weisz and Craig have been carrying on a romantic relationship. They’ve been spotted out together, and both recently got out of long relationships. Weisz was previously dating famous movie director Darren Aronofsky.

Rachel Weisz has been receiving media attention on some scale recently because of her link to Aronofsky. It was recently announced that Aronofsky would be a major presence at this year’s Venice Film Festival, and one of his entries in the festival from a few years ago, The Fountain, stars Weisz.

Not all of her publicity has been about her films, however. In the past week or so, Weisz admitted to not really knowing a lot about hair styling techniques. Though this may come as a shock because she always looks beautiful and well put together when photographed.

Weisz has several film projects which are filming and in development, so these will likely keep her busy for some time. She’s soon to star with Jude Law and Anthony Hopkins in 360 which is filming now.
